Avondale were instructed by Matterhorn Capital on a design and build project to work with Project Manager AMC Associates.

The building is Grade II listed and Avondale dealt with all planning and listed building consent.

The refurbishment of 5 floors included new mechanical and electrical services including a new VRF air conditioning system throughout the floors along with new perimeter trunking and distribution.

New suspended metal pan ceiling installed with Cat II lighting on 4 floors and a feature ceiling and lighting to reception.

New totally refurbished wc blocks included Corian troughs with sensor taps along with bespoke laminated walnut panelling and showers included on 2 floors. DDA wc’s on each floor.

The reception refurbishment included bespoke oak timer slatted panelling to walls with feature lighting, new glass lobby doors and ceramic floor tiling.

The external front facade was sympathetically cleaned using a Doff system and repainted to give an even finish, colours were discussed and agreed with listed building surveyors.

The building was occupied by CO-OP Bank throughout the refurbishment and the Avondale team liaised with the Bank to ensure their day to day activities were unhindered.
